This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from the Site, or otherwise communicate with us. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described here.

Changes to this Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on the Site and update the "Last updated" date.

Information we collect. We may collect the following categories of personal information:

Contact details, such as your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number.
Order information, such as the items you buy, order history, and payment confirmation. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
Account information, if you create an account, such as your login and preferences.
Customer support information you include in messages to us.
Device and usage information, such as your browser, IP address, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

How we collect it. Directly from you when you place an order, create an account, sign up for emails, or contact us. Automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site. And from service providers who help us run the store.

How we use your information

To provide our products and services: process payments, fulfill and ship orders, send order and shipping updates, manage your account, and handle returns or claims.
To communicate with you and provide customer support.
To send marketing emails, if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
For security and fraud prevention.
To improve the Site and understand how it's used.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your cart and preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site through analytics tools, including Shopify's built in analytics. You can block or remove cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Site, like the cart, may not work properly without them.

How we share your information. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the store, including with:

Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes checkout and payments.
Printful, our print on demand partner, which receives your name, shipping address, and order details so it can print and ship your order.
Shipping carriers that deliver your order.
Payment processors.
Email, analytics, and other service providers that help us operate the business, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Authorities or others when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale.

Third party websites. The Site may link to other websites. We aren't responsible for their privacy or security practices.

Security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable safeguards and rely on Shopify's secure checkout.

Your privacy rights

Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@northgalocal.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep information we're required to keep by law, such as order and tax records.
State privacy laws. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and why, to get a copy of your information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. You or an authorized agent can make a request by emailing hello@northgalocal.com. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our response. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
We don't sell your information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first and give you a way to opt out. Where required by law, we treat a browser's Global Privacy Control signal as an opt out request.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for them, the Site does not currently respond to them. You can still manage cookies through your browser settings as described above.
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. We'll still send emails about your orders.
Children under 13. The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Data retention. We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle claims, and meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements. We keep marketing contact information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
